Study and preservation of historical baths in Kazakhstan discussed

Today, the National scientific seminar on "Study and preservation of historical baths in Kazakhstan" was held at the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz".

The seminar on the Zoom platform addressed the issues of archaeological study, history, architectural features and preservation of medieval baths in Kazakhstan.

The reports presented studies of medieval baths in Taraz, Koylyk (Kayalyk), Otrar, Saraishyk towns, the Eastern Bathhouse and the building of the "City Bathhouse" in Kyzylorda. The results of the Kali Junis bathhouse study were also presented.
