The delegation of the Leningrad region visited the mausoleum of Karakhan

A delegation from the Leningrad Region of the Russian Federation visited the mausoleums of Karakhan and Dautbek, which are part of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz". The tour was conducted by the guide, archaeologist and local historian Iskander Torbekov.

The delegation members learned about the history of mausoleums, the peculiarities of their architecture and the place of these monuments in the historical and cultural heritage of medieval Taraz.

During the tour, the guests got an idea of the architectural heritage of the region and the history of ancient Taraz.
